Job Description

The team focuses on developing tools that enable scientists to share algorithms with the broader organization, utilizing satellite data, machine learning, and image processing. We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer to build a cloud-based pipeline for running geoscience algorithms. In this role, you’ll help create systems that automate the execution of these algorithms and optimize their efficiency, working closely with scientists and stakeholders across the organization.

Requirements

• 2+ years of software engineering experience
• Experience building cloud-native systems using Kubernetes and Docker
• Familiarity with version control (git)
• Experience designing and building microservices
• Experience working with Linux-based systems
• Strong communication skills in English

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Python, JavaScript, Golang, Vue, React
• Familiarity with GCP APIs, Flask, Jupyter notebooks, and containerized workloads
• Experience with GIS/map data
• CI/CD pipeline management experience
• Ability to communicate in Japanese

Salary Range

¥6M - ¥9M (based on skills, experience, and abilities)
