Job Description

Job Summary: We are looking for an Electro-Mechanical Engineer to refine and simplify the design of a robotic arm by optimizing its electrical systems for easier assembly and maintenance. The role involves supporting component selection, optimizing part placement, ensuring compliance with C Standards, improving wire routing, and streamlining wire harnesses. You will also assist in preparing the Electrical and Electronic Bill of Materials. Key Responsibilities: Track and report task progress to the Team Lead. Collaborate with Electronics and Mechanical Team Leads to validate assembly processes. Work closely with internal teams to ensure "quality by design" and manufacturability. Maintain document control and manage design changes. Define specifications for systems, sub-systems, and components. Conduct systematic design reviews, including: BOM simplification (reducing parts and assemblies). Assembly analysis, ensuring optimal sequencing of cable and wire mounting in coordination with designers. Wire routing and cable management for efficiency and compliance. Preference for commercially available components to minimize custom parts.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Altium software
  • Enthusiasm to learn and improve in challenging environment

Preferred Skills

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering

Salary Range

¥2M - ¥5M (based on skills, experience, and abilities)
