Job Description

As an Electrical & Electronics Engineer specializing in robotics, you will be responsible for multiple aspects of robot development. Your work will involve electrical design, including component selection for projects such as our AMRs, which integrate motors, industrial electrical components, and proprietary electronic circuit boards. You will also design and prototype wire harnesses that interconnect these components. Autonomous mobile robots incorporate numerous electrical elements, and enhancing these components is crucial for improving safety, power efficiency, and compactness. Your role will encompass the comprehensive development of these electrical systems, contributing to product innovation and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Experience developing mechatronic products in mass production
• Strong knowledge of electronic circuit design and electrical systems
• Proficiency with 3D CAD software
• Intermediate Japanese and English proficiency

Preferred Skills

• Experience designing autonomous systems
• Expertise in mass production of automotive wire harnesses
• Background in functional safety
• Electrical qualifications or high-voltage system knowledge
• Familiarity with global electrical standards
• Experience working with brushless DC motors and lithium-ion battery systems
• Hands-on experience with electrical design CAD software
• Coding ability in C++ or Python
• Experience engaging with customers in technical discussions
• Passion for robotics and participation in related competitions or hackathons

Salary Range

¥5M - ¥8M (based on skills, experience, and abilities)
